Street Prize
Excited In Exeter
One lucky Exeter resident is celebrating after winning £30,000 this weekend as their postcode, EX4 1PA, was drawn as the winner of Sunday's Street Prize.
Stephen O'Reilly from Bowhay Lane was the only player in the lucky postcode. "It's excellent! It'll make a big difference to me and my wife, and it's great that the money from playing helps charities too. I think we'll probably spend the money on the house – my wife would like a new kitchen."
Street Prize Presenter Matt Johnson said, "It was great to meet Stephen and hand over that big cheque! I'm sure he'll enjoy spending it."
Players of People's Postcode Lottery have, to date, raised more than £197 Million for more than 2,800 good causes across Great Britain and internationally.
A local charity that has received support from People's Postcode Lottery players is South West Autism, which was awarded £1,995 last year for a group to support families with autistic children.
There were also celebrations in Colchester this weekend, as players in CO3 9AF scooped £30,000 each on Saturday.
