Winter Win In West Bridgford

It'll be an extra special Christmas this year for two lucky West Bridgford neighbours who have scooped £30,000 each. The Melrose Gardens neighbours' postcode, NG2 7FQ, was drawn as the winner of Sunday's Street Prize.

The winners were unavailable to receive their cheques, but their prize money will be paid directly into their bank accounts.

To date, £255 Million has been raised by players of People's Postcode Lottery for over 4,000 good causes across Great Britain and internationally.

A cause near West Bridgford that has received funding this year is Epic Partners. The charity was awarded £14,500 to run a mentoring programme for children growing up in poverty.

There were also happy winners elsewhere this weekend, thanks to Saturday's £30,000 Street Prize, and £3 Million was shared in December's Postcode Millions.
