Stenalees Strikes It Rich

Two players in Stenalees are in for a weekend of celebrations after winning Saturday's Street Prize. The two, who play with postcode PL26 8SP, have won a whopping £30,000 each.

Players aren't the only ones who benefit from People's Postcode Lottery. With 32% of the ticket price going to charities and good causes, players have raised over £393 Million for deserving causes to date. This prize was part of a draw promoted by NSPCC.

Last year, Sensory Trust, near to our Stenalees winners, received £17,062 from players. The funding was used for a new training programme to improve the wellbeing of carers of people with dementia. The training programme aims to help participants to overcome common consequences of caring such as depression, stress, social isolation, and sleep deprivation.
