Street Prize
Brilliant Win For Birmingham
Two Birmingham players will be celebrating after their postcode B34 7PX was drawn as the winner of the Saturday Street Prize this week.
Andy Stubbs was very surprised when Street Prize Presenter Danyl Johnson came to his door. "You don't think it will happen to you!" he said.
Andy wants to use the money to spoil his grandchildren and take his friends for a night out.
Danyl Johnson said, "Andy was pretty shocked to see me at his door! It was really good to meet him and find out how he'll spend his winnings."
The other winner was unfortunately unavailable to receive their cheque, but their winnings will be transferred directly into their bank account.
To date, players of People's Postcode Lottery have raised over £205 Million for more than 2,800 good causes across Great Britain and internationally.
A local charity that has received support from People's Postcode Lottery players is The Worth Foundation, which was awarded £19,958 last year for their Gear-Up for Work project.
There were plenty of happy players elsewhere too, as WV10 9PA was drawn as the winner of Sunday's Street Prize, and over 300 winners celebrated sharing £3 Million in Bolton upon Dearne.
