Lucky winners in Port Talbot shared an amazing £2 Million In the Spring 2012 Postcode Millions

A lucky player in Port Talbot has won an amazing £400,000.

The full winning postcode, SA12 6PY, was announced at a winner's party for players in postcode sector SA12 6 in Port Talbot. One player had a ticket in the full winning postcode, scooping the £400,000 prize.

As well as our big winner, Port Talbot residents scooped cheques ranging from £8,330 to £99,960. 20 players celebrated wins of £33,320 each.

Winner Nick Thomas, 28, was thrilled with his win of £99,960. He said, "This is fantastic news. I run a surf school on the local beach, so this will certainly help give my business a boost. I'll treat my girlfriend Liane to a holiday in Dubai too, and of course I'll pay off my debts. I thought it was all a joke at first - it's incredible."

People's Postcode Lottery ambassador and rugby legend Scott Quinnell was on stage, presenting cheques to the winners. He said "Congratulations to all of the winners. Enjoy spending your winnings!"

In a final surprise of the day, sector prize winner Chris Evans, who earlier had won £16,600, was brought back onto the stage to be presented with the keys to a BMW 1 Series.

X Factor 2009 finalist, Danyl Johnson, entertained the large crowd with a live performance.

People's Postcode Lottery has raised more than £17.6 Million for charities across the country. Missing People, Maggie's and Wildlife Trusts Wales were in attendance at the party to thank the players for their continued support.

Rachel Elias, sister of missing Manic Street Preacher Richey Edwards, attended the event in her role as a charity 'Family Representative' for Missing People, which receives support from the players of People's Postcode Lottery. She said, "It is great to see the positive influence People's Postcode Lottery has across Wales, not just with cash prizes, but in funding the vital lifeline for missing people and their families."
