Beaming in Barnsley

 A Barnsley resident has landed £25,000 and the keys to a brand new BMW thanks to their lucky postcode!

The Waltham Street winner plays with the postcode S70 1JA, which was drawn as a winner in People's Postcode Lottery's monthly £25,000 + BMW prize today.

A minimum of 30% of each ticket price goes directly to charities and players of People's Postcode Lottery have raised more than £168 Million to date for good causes across Great Britain and internationally.

A project that has received player support near the winning postcode is Thornberry Animal Sanctuary, which was awarded £5,000 last year to create a kitchen and dining area for volunteers.

There have been plenty of celebrations recently, as one of the weekend's Street Prizes landed in Gainsborough, the second £30,00 Street Prize was won in Liverpool, the £7,000 Dream Holiday prize was scooped in Wednesbury, and £3 Million was shared among lucky Loanhead winners.
