Postcode Millions
Wokingham Millions Win
A total of 182 neighbours in Wokingham are sharing £3 Million after their postcode sector, RG41 1, was revealed as a winner of this month's Postcode Millions prize.
Three residents each won £200,941 when their postcode, RG41 1NU, was announced as the full winning postcode. The remaining 179 winners receive different amounts depending on the number of tickets they play with. Those with a single ticket pocket £11,985, and players with two tickets each receive £23,970. Four winners play with three tickets and each pick up £35,955.
This is the second time in a row that a Berkshire postcode has won our monthly £3 Million prize. Residents in RG2 8NZ in Reading, only seven miles away, scooped the prize last month.
However, there will be no official celebrations to mark the occasion. People's Postcode Lottery Presenter Danyl Johnson, who lives locally, explained, "Last weekend's tragic events in Reading deeply affected the community in Wokingham. While I offer my congratulations to our winners, I'm sure they will also understand that on this occasion we won't be celebrating this Postcode Millions in the usual way.
"I am proud to call this area home and I have seen at first-hand how the community has come together in the aftermath of the attack.
"On behalf of the entire Postcode Lottery team, I would like to extend our condolences to the families and friends of those who died and those who were injured."
Good Causes Across Britain
Today's prize is part of a draw promoted by Postcode Neighbourhood Trust which, due to the current pandemic, will provide funding to organisations affected by COVID-19.
With 32% of the ticket price going to charities and good causes, players of People's Postcode Lottery have now raised over £500 Million for more than 7,500 projects and groups across the world. Together we make a difference.
