Lucky Leytonstone
It's a super Saturday for three lucky Leytonstone players who have each scooped a whopping £30,000 cheque! The windfall came for the residents after their postcode, E11 3RE, was drawn as a winner of today's #30KADAY Street Prize.
Street Prize Presenter Judie McCourt caught up with one of our winners over video call.
Feeling Great
Winner Kirill was eager to find how much he had won, especially after Judie had flashed the golden envelope. He exclaimed, "That's the famous envelope... the suspense is killing me!"
Upon the reveal of Kirill's big cheque, he and his partner Gena were ecstatic. The two clapped with excitement. Kirill exclaimed, "It feels absolutely great, thank you for giving us the opportunity!" Kirill went on to say how he would spend his winnings. He said, "Maybe a trip when this whole mess is over, we'll have plenty of time to plan things!"
When asked why he plays People's Postcode Lottery, Kirill said, "We signed up to really help the charities that you are supporting, that are doing a great job across the UK." He added, "People are winning all the time! What's not to love?"
Judie McCourt congratulated today's happy winners. She said, "I'm thrilled for Kirill and everyone else in Leytonstone who got a cheque today! A big congrats to them. I hope they enjoy their winnings and celebrate tonight!"
