Brilliant Win In Bootle

Six Bootle neighbours are celebrating after winning a total of £180,000 between them, all thanks to their postcode. The Elton Avenue residents each won £30,000 after L30 3SQ was named as a winning postcode.

The prizes are part of People's Postcode Lottery's special #30KADAY Christmas celebration in which one postcode is drawn every day in December's draws, and every ticket in that postcode wins a £30,000 Street Prize.

Fantastic Family Win

Two of the winners included Kathleen and her son Paul, who both won cheques for £30,000. Kathleen said, "This win is just amazing. It's unbelievable that we've won!

"My son started playing People's Postcode Lottery last July and encouraged me to sign up too. And am I glad I did! I've already got my other friends and family to join up as not only are charities benefiting, we could all be winners again too!

"I’m off to Abu Dhabi to see my sister so it's great knowing I can come back in January and not have to worry about money. Having my son win at the same time is also lovely as we can all celebrate together and really enjoy the festive period."

People's Postcode Lottery Presenter Matt Johnson visited Bootle to reveal the prizes. He said, "Handing out prizes is always an exciting time but even more so around Christmas! I got to sit down with Kathleen and her son for a cup of tea and hear about their plans to treat themselves in the New Year. I personally can't think of a better way to start 2020!
