Bonanza In Blackrod

Daniel was one of our lucky winners, and is already looking forward to spending his prize on a new car. He said, "When the cheque was being pulled out the envelope, I couldn't believe how many zeros there were! I've never won anything in my life and I've only been playing for about a year. I can buy whatever I want now. My first purchase though has got to be a new car. Things keep going wrong with it so I really want to treat myself to a new one. I will also treat my sister to something nice.

As our other seven winners weren't available to collect their cheques in person, their prize money will be paid directly into their bank accounts.

Street Prize Presenter Judie McCourt was in Blackrod to meet Daniel. She said, "It was a pleasure to meet Daniel today and hand over his cheque. His eyes lit up when he saw how much he had won. It's great to hear he can now buy himself a new set of wheels and something nice for his sister. I hope each of the eight winners enjoy spending their prize money!"
