Success In Stalybridge

Four Stalybridge neighbours have been left stunned after learning they'd won £30,000 prizes thanks to their postcode. One of the lucky players scooped £60,000 because they were playing with two tickets. What a thrilling Thursday! The cash prizes came after SK15 2PX was announced as a winner today with our #30KADAY Street Prizes this month.

A Trip Down Under

Among our winners was Denise, who was delighted when Street Prize Presenter Judie McCourt revealed her £30,000 cheque. She exclaimed, "No way! Oh my gosh, that's amazing. I've never won anything in my life!"

Denise was joined by her husband Alan and couldn't quite believe her luck. She added, "It's amazing, it means so much to me to have won because I'm not normally a lucky person - I just can't get over it."

After finding out how much she'd won, the first thing on Denise's mind was her 24-year-old twin children. Denise said, "It means a lot because I can help my kids out, they're our world. My daughter is getting married next year, and my son wants to get on the property ladder. So, if I can help them do that, I will."

Denise is now making plans to take a long-awaited trip down under. She said, "I would love to go back to Australia! I was brought up there, and I've still got family over there, so maybe a little bit will go towards going back over there."

Along with a flight to Australia, the couple are planning a sunny holiday next year. Denise said, "We love Spain, so maybe we'd go a couple of weeks in Spain."

The mum-of-two started playing to help the Charities supported by players of our lottery. She said, "I started playing because it helps so many charities. We don't just benefit from it - the charities do as well. The cancer charities and charities for the blind in particular. My mum has had breast cancer and my dad's blind, so those charities are those closest to my heart."

Alan was delighted to hear that three of their neighbours had also picked up prizes. He added, "It's fantastic, it's quiet around here, everybody looks out for each other - it's amazing."

Judie McCourt sent her well-wishes to all our winners. She said, "I'm absolutely thrilled for our four lucky players in Stalybridge! It was really special to be able to surprise Denise and hear about her amazing plans for spending the cash. A massive congratulations to each of the winners, I hope they celebrate tonight and enjoy spending their prize winnings."
