Amazing Mansfield

It's a marvelous day for nine lucky players on King Street in Mansfield who have each picked up incredible £30,000 cheques. The winners, who play with postcode NG19 9AU, discovered they'd won today's #30KADAY Street Prize when they received golden envelopes through their doors.

Incredibly, this win comes a day after eight neighbours scooped £240,000 only two miles away in NG18 3BG, bringing the total amount won in the area to an incredible £510,000!

Over The Moon

Delighted couple Margaret and Graham each play with a ticket, and are still trying to decide how they will spend their winnings. Margaret said, "Winner winner chicken dinner! We are absolutely over the moon. We'll be celebrating with a lager shandy but I don't think it's sunk in yet.

"I do need a new hairdryer! I think we will try to bring and friends together that we haven't seen in a while and celebrate with them then take it from there."

Graham added, "I've spent the money ten times over in my head and still can't decide what to do! We moved house just before lockdown began so it's come at the perfect time. We want to celebrate and use some money for luxury things, but we want to be sensible. We have three young grandkids and two children so they will definitely want treated.

"We keep looking at each other and saying, '£60,000?!'"

Sharing The Money

Lucky winner Smita was just as thrilled with her prize. She said, "It feels unreal, I still can't digest the fact I have won. My two young children have a list of things already, from games and toys to scooters and skateboards! I'm looking forward to treating them.

"A part of this will go to charity too. I'm from India and my husband from Sri Lanka. There are a lot of people there who aren't looked after how we are, so we'd love to help. It's lovely to share the money with those who don't have as much as we do.

"It's amazing - I'm over the moon - it feels really, really wonderful."
