Cash For Conder Green

Four neighbours in Conder Green are celebrating today as their postcode, LA2 0AN, has won our Wednesday #30KADAY Street Prize. Three of the residents landed £30,000 each, while the fourth doubled their prize to £60,000 thanks to playing with two tickets.

Barbara was our lucky £60,000 winner, and found out how much she'd won after receiving a knock on the door from Street Prize Presenter Danyl Johnson.

Back To The USA

She and her husband Dennis were shocked to receive another visit from our Lottery team, especially after winning £12,800 in November 2017. Barbara exclaimed, "Not twice - that doesn't happen to us, but hey it has!"

Dennis held doubts about ever winning again and was delighted to be proved wrong. He exclaimed, "Well, I said I didn't think it would ever happen again on the same postcode, but it has done!" Barbara added, "It seems to be such a lucky postcode that for it to happen twice."

The couple took a three-week dream holiday to the USA with their last big win, and plan on taking another stateside holiday this time, too. Barbara said, "I'd like to go back to America, I love it! We went from east to west, a 5,000-mile road trip we did, it was fantastic." Dennis laughed and added, "I was told this morning that we were to go back."

Campervan Road Trip

Another lucky winner, Jacqueline, scooped a £30,000 prize. She and her husband Nigel were both stunned when Danyl revealed their cheque on their doorstep. Nigel said, "It's totally unexpected - like people say, we've never won anything in our life really."

After renovating their house over the last few years, the couple plan to treat themselves to something they've had their eye on for a long time. Jackie said, "A campervan is definitely on the cards - we've kept putting it off because of work on the house that needed doing. So, this might be our opportunity to grasp it and get it."

Once the pair purchase their campervan, they hope to go on a few road trips across Europe. Nigel said, "I'd like to go to Slovenia. That would be good, that would be extra good."

Nigel also had a special treat in mind when celebrating the cash windfall. He said, "A fish and chip supper." Jackie giggled and added, "He's going to go mad and go out to the chip shop."

Danyl Johnson said, "What an amazing surprise for the four winning players from Conder Green. It was so lovely to surprise Barbara and Jacqueline and their partners as well as hearing about the fabulous ways in which they intend to spend the winnings.
