Fortune For Forres

Two neighbours from Forres will be celebrating this weekend after their postcode netted them a staggering £30,000 each.

The lucky winners from Adam Drive landed the prize money after their postcode, IV36 2JN, was drawn in our Saturday Street Prize.

Mother-of-three Carol was in complete disbelief when Street Prize Presenter Judie McCourt knocked on her door and handed over a cheque for £30,000. Carol said, "I'm completely flabbergasted – I never thought I would win this amount!"

Carol plans to share her good fortune with her three sons, as well as treating herself to a few trips away. "I've booked a holiday to Gibraltar in October and my youngest son lives in Ireland with his wife, so I’ll be able to visit him a lot more frequently now!"

"I signed up to play because of all the different charities that are supported, both locally and internationally. I love the feeling that I’m contributing to something!"

Helen was our second winner from Adam Drive. She said, "This is absolutely amazing. Never in a million years did I think this would happen to me! I've spoken to people who live on the street who now wish they had been playing – I'm so glad I decided to join!"

Once the shock of receiving her cheque had subsided, Helen was going to celebrate with her husband, two children, and four grandchildren. She plans to spoil them all with her prize money.
