Swinton's Winners

A fabulous 14 neighbours from Swinton are celebrating after receiving £30,000 cheques, thanks to the luck of their postcode. One player received double the prize money, taking away £60,000, after playing with two tickets.

Each of the Clovelly Road winners scooped a share of £450,000 after M27 0FU was announced as today's Street Prize winning postcode in our #30KADAY extravaganza.

A Huge Surprise

Louvain is one of the neighbours who scooped a £30,000 prize. She said, "I've been playing for 12 months so to win £30,000 was a huge surprise! I've certainly not won anything before. I feel great after winning and already have a few ideas on my list of what I want to buy. The first is a new door knocker and a handle, but the exciting one would be a nice holiday at some stage next year. It's my turn to pay so a family holiday to Turkey would be great.  

"My friend suggested joining People's Postcode Lottery, and now that I've won, I'm so happy I did. Knowing I'm also helping charity at the same time is great. It's always nice to know somebody else is benefiting at the same time. I'm definitely going to keep playing."

Over The Moon

Karen also won a staggering £30,000 cheque. She said, "I can't put into words what winning with People's Postcode Lottery means to me and my family. I'm going to book some holidays, buy a new car and spread the joy!

"I've seen people winning the lottery on TV so thought there was absolutely no reason why I wouldn't win. It's fantastic that the whole street can celebrate together. It's even more fantastic that the money makes so many people happy, and also helps people in need. I'm going to keep playing as even if I don't win another penny, I will still be giving back - I'm absolutely over the moon!"

Street Prize Presenter Judie McCourt was in Swinton to deliver our golden envelopes. She said, "Seeing the reactions on our winners' faces today in Swinton has been excellent. It's also lovely getting to hear what the winners plan to do with the money, whether it's a family holiday, some home improvements or even giving back to charity.
