Royal National Institute of Blind People
The Royal National Institute of Blind People is one of the UK's leading sight loss charities.
RNIB's vision is a world where equal participation for blind and partially sighted people is the norm. As the UK's leading charity for people with sight loss, they exist to break down the barriers faced by their community.
Every day 250 people begin to lose their sight, and that number is set to double by 2040. RNIB wants to ensure that no one faces diagnosis without support, that advice and guidance is available whenever it is needed, and that people are able to connect with their peers.
RNIB wants to change society for the better, which is why they work with government, influencers, and key decision-makers to lead on the creation of an accessible world. They believe that a world where everyone can participate equally is a better world for everyone.
Players of People's Postcode Lottery have supported RNIB in many ways, including innovation, policy, research, supporting people to gain and stay in work, counselling, and connecting communities together. Together we are changing society and helping others to see differently.
