Blue Marine Foundation

Blue Marine Foundation is dedicated to restoring the ocean to health by protecting and restoring marine life. Its mission is to ensure the effective protection of at least 30 per cent of the ocean by 2030 and the sustainable management of the whole ocean and to support the livelihoods in coastal communities through the recovery of marine biodiversity. Blue Marine works with small-scale fishers, local organisations and governments to deliver marine conservation and restoration solutions to the climate and biodiversity crisis.

The charity identifies the best interventions to support a project via specialised units - from media and education to raise awareness, policy and legal action to galvanise change, investigations and science to discover the truth, to innovative finance to mobilise capital.
