Win For Whitby

Two lucky Whitby winners have picked up £30,000 each thanks to their postcode.

The neighbours, who play with postcode YO21 1HL, have scooped Sunday's Street Prize.

Players of People's Postcode Lottery support a wide range of deserving projects. As 32% of the ticket price goes to charities, £310 Million has been raised for good causes. Today's Street Prize was part of a draw promoted by charity CLIC Sargent.

A good cause close to the Whitby winners that has received funding from players is Coast and Vale Community Action. The group was awarded £15,402 in 2016 to transform a neglected piece of land into a community garden.
