Street Prize
Way To Go Gorseinon
It's a sensational Sunday for eight Gorseinon residents, all thanks to their postcode. The neighbours found out that SA4 4HG has scooped each of them an incredible £30,000 per ticket in today's Street Prize.
Six of the winners each won £30,000, while the remaining two doubled their prizes to £60,000 as they played with two tickets.
Family Car
Lucky Ryan was one of our £60,000 winners. He found out how much he'd won during a video call with Street Prize Presenter Jeff Brazier.
The dad-of-three was over the moon when Jeff revealed his first £30,000 cheque. He exclaimed, "Awesome! Oh my God, Wow! That's changed my life." His good fortune continued when moments later Jeff explained that he'd receive another £30,000 as he plays with two tickets. Ryan said, "Oh flipping heck, that's doubly-changed my life now."
Ryan found out the amazing news while on a break from his job as an electrical contractor. He said, "I might have to take a half day now. I really can't wait to tell the kids."
He's now making plans to buy a new car and jet off on a family holiday with his wife Joanne and their three children. He said, "I was looking at a SEAT Ateca, something bigger for me and the kids.
"We were meant to go to Menorca last year, but it got cancelled so we would go back to the same resort because it looked pretty amazing. I can't wait!"
Dream Holidays
Another lucky winner was Jamie, who was with his wife Amy when he found out the good news. They were both overjoyed when Jeff revealed Jamie's £30,000 cheque. Amy exclaimed, "Oh my God! Oh my goodness."
The couple have 5-year-old twins and plan on taking them on a few dream holidays. Amy said, "We've always said when they get a little bit older, we'd take them to Disney, and I'd love to take them to Lapland."
The couple are also planning on finally getting round to making a few home improvements. Amy said, "We were supposed to have done it pre-COVID times, so we can finally do a nice new bathroom."
It Means The World
Linda was another happy £30,000 winner and was with her husband Stuart during the video call with Jeff. The couple were speechless when they found out how much they'd won. Linda gasped and exclaimed, "Oh my God! I've never won anything like that in my life before, that's wonderful.
"It means the world to me, it'll make a lot of difference to us."
Linda, a receptionist at a local hospital, plans to treat her two grandchildren with her windfall. Her husband Stuart already had an idea of what they might like. He said, "Bikes or scooters, they move pretty quick!"
After they've helped their family, Linda and Stuart intend to use some of their prize money to renovate their bathroom, and Stuart has his eyes on a new guitar.
The couple were also delighted that so many of their neighbours had won. Linda exclaimed, "It's absolutely wonderful! We have a lot of street parties, it's a lovely street - everyone is so friendly."
Jeff Brazier congratulated all our winners and said, "What an amazing surprise for an incredible eight winning players from Gorseinon. I'm absolutely thrilled for all of our winners and I hope they enjoy spending their winnings. I think there will be a big street party going on at this postcode, they've got plenty to celebrate that's for sure."
Every day throughout our July draws one postcode will be announced as a £30,000 Street Prize winner. Every player in that lucky postcode will win £30,000 for every ticket they play.
