A travel agent in Annan is planning on taking a dream holiday after scooping £30,000 with People's Postcode Lottery. Annan local Iain pocketed the cash after his postcode, DG12 6DJ, was announced as the winner of today's Street Prize.

Over The Moon

Iain, who works as a branch manager at a travel agent, was thrilled when he received his £30,000 cheque from Street Prize Presenter Jeff Brazier. He exclaimed, "I've never had this much money in my life. I can't believe it, it's huge!

"I've not been on holiday for a while, and I've always wanted to go to Thailand, so I think that's what I'll spend the money on first."

Iain thought his win might help him purchase the flat that he's currently renting. He said, "I want to buy the flat eventually and this money is at least a deposit - I'm over the moon."

"I moved into the flat a year ago and there's still things I want to do with it, and £30,000 will go a long way.

"I've won a few tenners and thought I'd been quite lucky, but I never ever expected to receive a call from the Postcode Lottery."

Street Prize Presenter Jeff Brazier said, "Congratulations to Iain on winning Saturday's £30,000 prize. He's over the moon and I'm sure he'll have a great time in Thailand.
