Street Prize
Little Paxton's Big Win
Two neighbours in the village of Little Paxton are each £30,000 better off thanks to their postcode. The lucky Postcode Lottery players netted their cheques when PE19 6QX was drawn as a winner of today's Street Prize.
This is the second gold envelope for IT Business Analyst Sasha as she'd won a £1,000 prize at her previous address.
Holiday Plans
Sasha was left stunned when Street Prize Presenter Danyl Johnson revealed her £30,000 cheque. She said, "It feels unreal. It's unbelievable, it's taking a while to settle in!"
Joined by her partner Robert, the pair were thrilled and said they'll plan an all-inclusive holiday with their four kids, with sun, sandy beaches, and water slides in mind.
Street Prize Presenter Danyl Johnson said, "Congratulations to our winners in Little Paxton. I hope they enjoy celebrating the win and the holiday to come!"
Local charities win too. With a centre in nearby Cambridge, The Trussell Trust have received over £325,000 in funding thanks to players. Every 13 seconds a food parcel is distributed to someone in need and The Trussell Trust offer a lifeline to communities all over the country.
Thousands Of Deserving Projects
Today's prize is part of a draw promoted by Postcode International Trust (opens in a new tab), which provides regular grant funding to organisations that work to alleviate poverty, hunger and enable food security. Supported charities include Action Against Hunger, ActionAid and British Red Cross.
33% of the ticket price goes to charities and good causes. To date, players have raised more than £1 Billion for thousands of deserving projects worldwide. Our players are changing lives every day, helping people and the planet. Thank you for all your support - we really couldn't do it without you.
