Street Prize
Street Prize For Spalding
Four neighbours from Spalding are in the money this week thanks to their postcode being drawn as a winner in our #30KADAY extravaganza. The lucky postcode, PE12 6BS, was drawn as the winner of today's Street Prize. Three of the Swindlers Drove residents each landed a £30,000 cheque, while the fourth, because they were playing with four tickets, picked up a whopping £120,000!
Birthday Treat
Retiree Vivian was one of our lucky winners. She found out about her £30,000 windfall on a video call with Street Prize Presenter Judie McCourt.
Vivian said, "No, no, no - wow! That’s unbelievable.
"I have plans! I want to move to a new house so this will definitely help me with that. My family are all scattered about with my son and some of my grandchildren up in Scotland, so it's been a really hard time not being able to see them. I'd like to take everyone on a big family holiday when we can.
"It was one of my granddaughters' birthdays last week so a nice treat for her will be first on the list."
Judie McCourt said, "Huge congratulations to Vivian and all of the other winners in Spalding. It was fantastic to be able to deliver such good news and I hope Vivian has a really special get together with her family when she can."
Superb Causes
Today's prize is part of a draw promoted by Sightsavers, which has received over £3.9 Million thanks to player support. This funding is helping prevent sight loss and avoidable blindness in the world's poorest countries, treating conditions such as cataracts and fighting debilitating eye diseases.
With 32% of the ticket price going to charities and good causes, players of People's Postcode Lottery have now raised over £500 Million for more than 7,500 projects and groups across the world.
