606 People's Postcode Lottery players in Newark's NG22 0 postcode sector have shared a phenomenal £4.1 Million in June's Postcode Millions prize. NG22 0JA was revealed as the full winning postcode. Four Haynes Close neighbours in that postcode won the biggest amounts, each pocketing an incredible £333,009 for each ticket they play with.

Dumbfounded By Double Win

75-year-old John doubled his winnings to £666,018 due to playing with two tickets. John said, "I can't believe it, I'm absolutely dumbfounded. This is going to make so much difference to us, it's just incredible."

The retired software manufacturing consultant and his wife Christine plan to use some of their winnings to find their dream home. John said, "We've always wanted to move to a quiet little bungalow and now this changes everything, we can't wait to go property shopping.

"We both love travelling and maybe when we can do that again we'd go back to Australia or Canada. We'd love to visit some of its beautiful mountains and lakes."

Twin Cheques And Takeaway

The couple plan on celebrating the win with a takeaway from their favourite local restaurant and "some fizz and maybe a gin and tonic or two."

There was one last thing on John's wish list. He added, "I've always fancied a Bentley. So, if there's money left after the house and helping the family out, I might treat myself to that."

Winners in the wider postcode sector NG22 0 received different amounts depending on the number of tickets they played with. Those with a single ticket won £3,132, and players with two tickets each won £6,264. Winners playing with three tickets each won £9,396.
