National Museums Scotland
The mission of National Museums Scotland is to preserve, interpret and make accessible for all, the past and present of Scotland, other nations and cultures and the natural world.
Funding supports activities in:
- The National Museum of Scotland, in Edinburgh,
- The National Museum of Rural Life, in East Kilbride, and
- The National Museum of Flight, in East Lothian.
As well as museums and collections, the organisation runs numerous research programmes, educational activities, special events and exhibitions and makes special connections with other institutions around the globe.
