But too many people miss out on this essential care. Hospice UK fights for hospice care for all who need it, for now and forever. 

At the heart of Hospice UK's mission are the 200+ local hospices across the UK who provide outstanding hospice care for 300,000 adults and children every year. Hospice UK works hard to make sure that its hospices can survive and thrive in these challenging times.

Hospice UK's programmes: 

• work with national governments and local communities to make sure all hospices have the right resources and support. 
• work with the communities who are most likely to miss out on quality end of life care to ensure they can get the support they need, whoever and wherever they are.
• support local hospices by giving out more than £1 Million each year in grants. 
• support the mental and emotional wellbeing of our amazing hospice staff. 
• provide vital information to help people who are at the end of their lives.
