Energy Gardens

Groundwork London and Repowering London's Energy Gardens partnership aims to turn 50 London Overground Rail Operations railway stations into greener spaces – providing sustainable volunteering and training opportunities to grow edible produce and transform under-utilised public spaces.

The project will offer local groups and individuals the ability to create their Energy Garden at a local station, of which five will be flagships. Each garden will be powered by solar energy installations and support will be provided to local groups to design the gardens, run planting sessions and maintain them for the long-term.
