ClientEarth is an environmental charity with a unique approach. It uses the law to create powerful change and a future where people and planet thrive together.

Founded in 2007, it was Europe's first charity providing dedicated legal capacity for the environment. Working in partnerships across borders, systems and sectors, it has used the law to protect life on earth. Active in over 60 countries worldwide, ClientEarth has almost 200 lawyers, scientists and policy advisers using the law to build a better future.

The charity works with the law at every stage, from evidence gathering to drafting new laws, implementing existing laws and checking governments and businesses are complying with them.

It is clear that the coming decade will decide the future of our planet - of our climate, oceans, forests, and ultimately all of earth's inhabitants. There has never been a more important time to fight for change and drive ambitious action to tackle the pressing environmental challenges we face.
